  1. Just got the trial version of this app and I did the quick start with a small mpeg file and it worked fine. So I tried to put together the project I really wanted to work on which was a little more complicated but not to much. I used 3 DVD compliant MPEG2 files. 1 for the motion menu, 1 main movie file and 1 Deleted scenes file. I did chapters for the main movie file and used one the default templates for the sub menu. The motion menu was done just like the guide. I produced the motion menu with the text as part of the mpeg file and just used underlines for the actual links. The project seemed to compile with no errors. However when I attempted the burn step it told that "important files are missing". I'm not real familiar with what files should have been produced, but I would have expected some kind of error during the compile? I wondered about size, but my 3 files add up to 4.2 gig. Any ideas?

did you move any of your assets to a different directory at any point during your project? if it looks for an mpeg file, and you've moved it, it would give you that message...

not sure why it would err like that otherwise..

  3. Found it. I found a log of the compile. It was complaining about the audio contained in my menu mpeg. Apparently the audio needs to be split out from the video in a motion menu. Kinda strange since the main movie works without demuxing. Also a little surprised I didn't get an error message at completion instead of Done! message.
