i just bought a digital camera ,the pictures are in jpeg format ,my question is can i put them on vcd to watch them on my dvdplayer,thx

JPEG is a very common format, and I'm sure you can use it in most of the software in those guides.
If you come across any software that won't take them as JPEGs, use something else - or download a batch-processing image app (see a site like WebAttack for loads of free apps like this), and convert them into the format you need.
