  1. Can anybody help me out here? I authored an mpeg2 using TMPGEnc DVD Author and burned it using Nero, on a Sony DWU 14-A, and when I went to play the disc on my DVD Player (Kenwood DVR-7000) it played the video with no audio, but when I played it on the playstation 2 it played the movie complete with sound.

    I used Ritek DVD-R 4x

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

What type of audio did you choose? Are you in a PAL or NTSC country?

    Need more info.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

  3. I'm in the UK but the audio I choose was NTSC, as using those settings I never had any problems when burning VCD's.

Hmmm, well I'd think that your standalone player could handle that - same as your PS2.

But what audio format did you select? PCM? MP2? AC3?

We're lucky with PAL to have more choices. Have you looked up your player on the left for comments from other owners for any clues? Any special settings required?

I've never heard of that problem before. :c*

  5. I've now had similar luck with mine. Not on a PS2, but audio on a Sony DVD player but no audio on a Technics. Authored with TMPGe, burned with Pioneer A06. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem on my standalone player. I have to enable LPCM audio in my audio setup. Everything was peachy from then on. I have a samsung m301.
