  1. Just as it reads on the topic. My panasonic does not seem to work anymore, the tray works fine, it goes in... but then it reads disc. For a few seconds it looks likes its fine but then this "H07" thing comes out on the display. I cant do nothing else but eject. This is happening all the time now. What can i do? My Main question is what is H07?

    thanks

I've heard that this is a common PANASONIC problem.
As far as I know there isn't much you can do.
If you have a warrenty for it then bring it in for service.
If you don't then it goes in the trash and you buy a new one.

  3. sigh..this is a common problem with panasonic? hm... what company do you recommend. I like to watch DVD, VCD and DVD-r burned ones. Someone told me maybe it was due to the fact that i watched copies such as vcd and dvd-r's, any truth to this? thanks again!

All I know is that the error you are getting is a common PANSONIC problem in that once you get that error repeatedly it means that your DVD player is dying and unless you have a warrently it will be cheaper to buy a new one.

Those that use PANASONIC seem to like them and they do seem to have good compatability with DVD-R discs (not sure about other formats) but it is known that the current crop of PANASONIC models are very cheaply made so once you get this error it is time to kick it to the curb.

I can't imagine how playing VCD and/or DVD-R media would wear out a DVD player faster than if you only played back commercial made DVD discs. I've never heard anyone say this anyways.

I'm not really up on the current model DVD players all that much so decided what is important to you and then shop around.

Some are good at doing PAL to NTSC but not at playing back SVCD
Some can do SVCD and VCD but not DVD-R
    Stuff like that.

So decide what it important to you and get a model that supports what you want.

Over on the LEFT HAND SIDE of this website under OTHER click on DVD PLAYERS and then you can search for different model/makes and see what other people say about it.
