having probs with the DVM AC3 codec

im trying to convertxvid files to svcd but im having probs with the audio.
It uses the ac3 codec (ac3 dvm) under info from avicodec,

when I go to extract the audio in Vdub it says decompressor cant be found, im sue I have the codecs as the sound plays when played on my pc, do I need something in particular for decompressing the ac3 dvm ?

Hey, did u ever find out how to overcome the Ac3 DVM codec problem, I can't find out where to download the codec so I can convert to SVCD also. The only site I can find is in German and I cant read German, LOL
