  1. While capturing 320x240 29.97fps avi using VideoStudio 3.0 SE, the audio is fine at first then slowly offsets from the video. Not very noticeable at 3 min. into capture, very noticeable at 7 min.

I'm using a 3dfx 3500TV on a p2-400 with 448MB RAM and an IBM 9.1GB UW scsi Hard Drive if that helps.

    Any input would be wonderful.

I recommend using VirtualDub to capture as I do.
Using the "Change audio clock dramatically to match video clock". The audio will say in sync (but you'll one frame every 5 minutes.. good trade to keep the audio in sync, if ya ask me)...

That option is found in the 'Timing' submenu.

  3. For some reason I can only use the bundled software (VideoStudio 3.0SE) to capture video. All the others that I've tried (MediaStudio6, VirtualDub, AVIEdit) jave resulted in more dropped frames than I can deal with. Sometimes up to 30%. So I'm stuck with VideoStudio3. Unless I've been doing something wrong.

    Any suggestions?
