good question, im glad someone asked it.
IFOEDIT does a LOT of things

    personally i use it for...
    1. creating .ifo/.bup files for a set of .vob's that are manually assembled and dont need to be reassembled.
    2. editing the .ifo/.bup stucture of a dvd if you want to remove a set or sets of .vob's from the normal dvd structure.
example, take out a extra or trailers of a movie that are interfeering with precious dvdr disk size so the DISK copy movie can be higher quality
    3. enabiling a Movie Only Copy to still have the menu with working scene selections
    4. removing RCE protection which DVDBackup1.3 and OSeX do not do (allows you to really play your "region free" region free.)

and im sure the list goes on and on, but thats what I use it for. Its the only reason I have VPC and have windows on my mac. Otherwise, what would the need be?!

Its an outstanding app, and its a shame no one has made an equivalent for OSX. Im sure the shareware cost of this would mean profits for whoever makes it!

except its not a MAC program
hence the use of VPC is needed.

i dont know how many times i've seen a poll or thread about this in a million different mac forums-- while i cant say i wouldnt want a mac os x version of ifoedit.. after all this begging for it (people have been begging since the program appeared on pcs a LONG time ago) i just dont realistically see it happening. Hey any developer willing to prove me wrong go ahead
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.
