  1. I´ve been encoding with FlaskMPEG to DivX, it works good but I have 1 problem. I cant control the size of the output file. For example if I want it to fit on a 700 MB CD, but turns out to be maybe 550 MB. Does anybody have a solution to this. Can adjust the bitrate in FlaskMpeg? At least I cant find it. Is there any other software better to encode to DivX?
    PLZ HELP!!!!

  2. Where you choose the AVI codec to use, you can also set its options -- for DivX, that would be the bitrate.

  3. use 2-pass encoding. some of the 1-pass encoding will result in unpredictable file sizes. chkout the divx guide at http://www.doom9.org. i have ripped 10+ DVDs with the resulting filesize to be within 1MB of predicted filesize. Doom9 also has a very good bitrate calculator.
