  1. Hi Folks, first of all, this software is ace. No problems with it so far, but I have a question then a suggestion.

I've used SVCD2DVD to produce a VIDEO_TS folder that is approx 4.8gb. It contists of 6x800mb files. I've then tried to use DVD2ONE and DVD Shrink v3.0 Beta to downlsample and reduce the size of this folder to fit it on a DVD+R, but it wont work. So my question is this, what software, if any can be used to reduce the size of this folder?

Next my suggestion is this, is it possible to incorporate into SVCD2DVD an option to keep the VIDEO_TS folder produced small enough to fit onto a DVD+R.

I realise it may be a bit much to ask, but if you don't ask you don't get..!!!

    Regards, JJ

    1. I understand that people use dvd shrink successfully. Maybe you need to ask how they do it.

    2. Keeping to 4.38 GB is down to the user. I could maybe warn that the sources are over this but a lot of people go for the 6 SVCD/DVD Shrink scenario. SVCD2DVD couldn't do the reduction itself if thats what you mean.

    3. Glad you think its ace. Have you voted on the poll?

  3. Thx Chrissyboy, I'll ask others how they manage to reduce the size using DVD Shrink.

Oh, and I've voted now...100% success rate up to now.
