  1. I finally got Nero to work with VPC4 but the "burn CD" icon is greyed out and so is the "Write CD" menu command.
How do I enable those two commands?
I'm trying to make an SVCD from an .mpeg2 file.
Someone wrote somewhere that you can use the virtual CD burner to create the SVCD files to burn in Toast.

I used a crack to register the app but the splash screen still says "demo" Is the burn CD feature disabled from the demo version?
    Does anyone have a s/n?

  2. What about your cd burner?

VPC does not support neither SCSI CDR drives nor Firewire ones. You can only use USB CDRs under VPC. Of course, you need USB activated (under VPC preferences) and the proper drivers for Windows.

    Hope this help

  3. In reply to my own question, I was doing something wrong and managed to create an image file with the extension .NRG
I dropped the .mpeg file into the SVCD folder icon instead of into the track window in Nero. It took quite a while to process but it did...

I'm expecting to be able to burn this either as a multi track cdrom-xa or something. I think I saw a Nero tutorial on this Mac forum.
Since my burner is SCSI, I used the virtual burner setting in Nero which created the image file when I clicked on the burn button.

Looking forward to burning those .mpeg SVCD movie files that have been hogging all those GBs.
