Hi all,

As you maybe know, there's a bug in DVD Architect, DVDlab and some others softwares that concerns PAL 4/3 projects. On some low cost DVD players (such as LG, Daewoo, Akai, JVC ...), the highlight doesn't display so it's impossible to select the objects. By doing some search online, i realized several people have already reported this bug. However i still haven't found a solution.

I used DVD architect to make my menu. The highlight plays fine on my Pioneer and on the DVD ROM players but not on the low costs players as i said. I must distribute my DVD very soon and i'm stuck at the last step because of that bug ! Also, i can't start making the menu again on another software that i don't know. No time for that :/

So i'm trying to resolve this bug myself. It seems impossible but i'm trying though. First, i know (and i checked) that on PAL 16/9 projects in DVD architect, the hightlights work on every players. I'm looking for a way to make a "PAL 4/3 fixed" by changing the rendering, so editing the IFO files through IFOedit. I know the highlights matchs to the sub-picture values in IFOedit but i don't know what to set.

Do you have any clue to fix this bug ? Here are my IFO files from both PAL 4/3 and PAL 16/9 projects :

I couldn't put the .VOB too because of their size of course. The VTS_0*.IFO files are there but it seems that VIDEO_TS.IFO is only concerned for the menu. A last detail : the VIDEO_TS.VOB is different for the 4/3 and 16/9 projects. I guess it's optimized for each formats.

Any help appreciated.
Thank you very much
