    Hi

I have several vcd (with menu) that plays very well on a DVD player. I can make my choice on the menu. (it's interactive)

Does anybody know a vcd(dvd)-player on a pc (software) where the interactive menu are working like a standard home player. I tried it with windvd but i can not select the menu (with the mouse)

    Thankx in advance.

  2. You don't use a pointer like the mouse on your standalone DVD player - you have to use the buttons to navigate.

Most decent software DVD players allow you to do this on VCD's.

WinDVD, PowerDVD etc.. have numeric keypads that you can 'pull out' to use VCD menus:

    WinDVD 2000:

    PowerDVD XP:

I think the main freeware players usually have these too.

You can often use the numeric keypad on your keyboard too.

I don't know of any player that will let you navigate (S)VCD menus with you mouse.

    cheers,
    mcdruid.

Roxio's VCDplayer is a good example of what you're looking for. Does what you want.
