"File Not Found" Errors at encoding

Hi all

Am having the following problem:
Am trying to encode a DivX to MPEG2 for DVD using the mpeg2enc encoder, and including an .srt subtitle file.
The movie previews correctly, but when i try to encode, the progress bar never gets beyond the stripey phase and the ffmpegX Progress app gives the following error:

Have tried moving both the application and the source files to the desktop and other locations but having similar results.

Any help appreciated
(Using ffmpegX 0.0.9 and the recommended mencoder and mplayer, which installed without problems.)

Remove all spaces and special characters from your filenames and path names to avoid issues with "Decode with mplayer" process (other processes now accept spaces and special characters).
