    Has anyone tried requant, which seems to be a Windows port of a Linux tool? From what I've seen, it works like DVD2One, DVDShrink et al, but in the shape of a (oh joy!) command line tool...

    There's a GUI for it called rejig.

    Allows you to import VOBs, MPEG program streams, and elementary streams. Also has a demuxer. Compression is controlled by a % system.

    Quality at 90% is great, 80% is pretty good, much like the other transcoders.

    The speed seems to be faster than DVD Shrink. Since it only outputs a .m2v stream, you'll have to remux with the original VOBs. IFOEdit works just fine with this on NTSC streams.
