    Hello I have some old vhs tapes that I want to convert into a cd format so I can play the cd in my dvd player.

    I have looked all over the net and I cant find out how to this, can anyone tell me the instructions

    Well you haven't really looked very hard now have you.

    Look at the GUIDES section on the LEFT HAND SIDE of this very website.

    You want to look at the guides on VCD and/or SVCD creation.

    There is a lot to learn but many here will be happy to help you with any SPECIFIC question or questions you may have AFTER you have read the basics.
