  1. Does anyone know what software can increase the audio within a .mpg?
Or that can clip and change volume of .mp2 files?
The nearest software that I can find to do this is MP3trim
but it has file size limitaions!
    Any help would be appriciated.
    Thx Daz

  2. You cannot do any form of audio editing on a MP2 audio file without re-encoding.

Thus, it may be worthwhile to simply decode the MP2 to WAV -- do all the necessary editing, and then re-encode it to MP2.

    Regards.

you can load the mpeg into http://www.goldwave.com but you will need to save it out as a wave

  7. "Edit" as in changing the volume or doing anything to the actual audio stream. You can't do any of that without re-encoding the MPEG.

Obviously you can cut an mpeg...
