    Which tool is good for splitting mpeg1/2 into lengths for burning vcd/svcd's?

    I left out something in thr beginning. I want a program to split files into lengths that will fit on cds perfectly without having to figure them out for myself.

    Use the DVDRHelp bitrate calculator,takes the guesswork out of it.

    I want a program that will feed me, burp me, powder my ass,
    and put me to bed without my having to even fire up even one
    of my llimited brain cells. Can anyone help ?

    Download Mom v1.0... avoid v2.0, as it added school requirements. Also look for the registry hacks that remove unwarranted advice-giving and nags.

  9. from a start from scratch dvd or avi, you can use dvd2svcd. It does the splitting for you and even sets the bin/ques p for you.

    thanks everyone for the words of wisdom. I was just wondering about this so i can pslit home movies into files that would feel the disk completely up without trial and error. i have found one and appreciate the help from everyone.
