  1. I have a dvd that is in PAL . I'd like to convert it to Ntsc but without capturing him . Does dvddecrypter or any other software do this.

    You can convert PAL to NTSC but this requires that you re-encode the video (and depending on the method used also the audio).

    With a DVD source it is actually pretty simple.

    Here are two links that give you all the information you will need:

    The first link is to Xesdeeni's website which has a lot of very usefull info on doing PAL to NTSC as well as NTSC to PAL.

    The second link is a thread on this website where several people, including myself and Xesdeeni, discuss the gritty details in more depth.
