TMPGEnc Error on 2 Pass

I have found TMPGEnc the best encoder at low bit rates. It is far superior to anything else I have tried.

When I try to do 2 pass encoding the program stops after the first pass. Any help on this?

As I experiment with settings I just found something unusual but it is too late to fully explore. Normally the program closes when it is through encoding.

I changed the GOP settings so that frames are unlimited, I=1, P=10, B=3 and the program stayed open when it was done encoding. Tomorrow I will change the P frames downward until the threshold is reached when the program closes down when encoding is done. This may allow 2 pass encoding.
