Hello. I've been lurking for a while, and trying out my hand at editing. I even succesfully created some VCDs and built some DVD images (ready for when I get a burner).

What I want to do is back up some of the MPEGs I've been working with. For some reason, however, using the straightforward WindowsXP CD burner always fails when I try to create a CD with several MPEGS (well within the write limit of the CD). It succesfully writes other items, such as JPEGS and documents.

    Any Ideas?
Is it the WinXP CD burner? is it the MPEGS (created ith Media Studio Pro)? or have I just tried to do something I shouldn't be able to do. All I want to do is back up some clips !!!

I admit I never tried to burn mpg's with the XP burner, but it should work. Probably better to try Nero or one of the freeware burners in the tools section to the left.
