Hi, I was wonder if I could get a general walkthrough:

I have a dozen Divx files that are about 25 min long each and are 512x384 in size. I would like to convert them into the DV format so I can use iDVD to put all of them on one DVD and be able to play them on a DVD player. Is that possible? How should I do it? Thanks.

  2. Use DivX Doctor II and then Quicktime Player to encode the .mov wrapper to .mov DV.

Hey, that worked - thanks. But now I have a new problem:

iDVD does not let me burn more than 90 minutes of movie! Since these are not DVD quality, I should be able to cram all 12 on one DVD... is there a way I can do this? Can I use the authoring ability of ffmpeg or Toast Titanium to make a DVD with all 12 movies that will play on a regular DVD player?

    Thanks.

  4. You can merge the .mov's with quicktime player by using copy/paste and then encode the resulting big .mov to DVD with ffmpegX or any other DVD encoder, including Apple mpeg-2 encoder.
