  1. hi, i write from italy.
    i have a problem with pioneer dvr A06 (106D).
it seems that this drive does not support overburning.
i've tried several times with different software (nero/diskjuggler/easyCDDA) and different cdr media (philips(90min)/skc(99min)) and i've not be able to write more than 79.59 min on the cdr.
after that time the burning process interrupts with error (invalid field etc.)
today i called pioneer support (in italy) and they told me that the drive at the moment can't write more than 80 min on a cdr (maybe in the future with new firmware...).
    Anyone have tried it?
    please help
    f.

if it doesnt support - it doesnt support it .. use a cd burner instead , which burn cd's faster anyway ...

sorry but it seems quite strange that a new burner doesn't support overburning, however i've read a review here:

    http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Articles/Specific.asp?ArticleHeadline=Pioneer+DVR%2DA0...order&Series=0

and it says that overburning is supported.
also the software i've used, in the burning capabilities of the drive, specify that overburning is supported.
i just would like to know if anybody here have tried overburning with success with this drive.
    thanks
