  1. I am new to this, still learning. I tried to copy DVD with cca 3hrs film, recompression was needed. Final DVD(-RW) seemed to be ok, but I found 2 strange things:
    - On both original and copied DVD there are 2 subtitle options for my language (czech), but only first shows subs, the other not. What are the second subs for ? Can the second subs be removed in IC 8 ?
    - Trying to make another copy of this copy by CloneDVD (without recompression) results with this error: VTS_01_0.IFO: 0:Read Error. Why ?
    Thanks for any suggestions.

  2. CLONEDVD recompress all the time. If you do not want to recompression try www.dvdshrink.org. Whats CCA a movie or do you mean CCE? Some time's they put a second set of sub's in a dvd hoping you will not copy them later to find out that you have a bad copy. Some time's they rename file's the movie companies. Not also once in a while. Just copy all the subtitle's there very small.

  3. Could it be "VTS_01_0.IFO: 0:Read Error" means, that InstantCopy somehow protects copy from another copying ? I tried also XPress and it reports similar message "Error Ifo". The only way I am ale to burn copied disc is rip it again (with Smart Ripper) and make new Video DVD by Nero. But there's some problems too. Even if thus made DVD plays well in desktop Player, in sw player (PowerDVD) it reports after cca 60% time "The DVD disc might have been damaged so as to inhibit playback operation". On some other forums I read, that this is bug in Nero and that version 6.0.0.19 repairs it, but not for me. It's still there.
