  1. Any one can help me?
    I cant find out how decompress a .avi file with these software. I use avi2vcd to decompress.
    Maybe I should ask, can Tmpeng or VirtualDub decompress .avi files?
    Please help me out, coz Im just a newbie! =)

  2. Any of those should decompress an avi file provided you have the correct codec loaded on your pc.

    Codec stands for Compression-Decompresion

    Search PM
    If it is a DivX encoded movie you'll have to install the divX codec. Does your media player play the avi correctly? If it does, VDub should open it.
