I have 2 questions, if someone could help me with either or both, it would be appreciated. I'm currently authoring a DVD from a home video with DVD Lab and am trying to make the links, such as "Play Now" and "Scene Selection" have a .jpg pop up next to them when selected. I am able to do this by selecting "Invisible Normal" for the pic, then attributing a link to it. HOWEVER, when previewing the DVD in WinDVD, the .jpg just comes up as a purple square. It's the same size as the original pic, however it's just a blank purple square. How can I get it to show the actual picture when one of the buttons is selected?

My second question is, when I press "DVD Menu" on the remote control of my standalone DVD Player, as well as in WinDVD, it goes to the scene selection menu, not the main startup screen where you can choose "play" or "scene selection" etc. How can I fix this?

    Thanks again for any help!

  2. 1. Read the help on Switched menus on MediaChance.com - it involves a menu change when highlighting occurs. The only difference between the two menus is the "POP UP" picture and the viewer can't see the change.

    2. DVD Labs command structure takes you back to the menu you started from - you need to wait for the future Pro Version if you want to change the command sequence. Or do it with IfoEdit: (tough I know)

    Change:
First Play - jump to VMG Title Menu -
    1. pre Command = Set GPreg <11> mov (set val)<1>
    2. pre Command = (JumpSS VTSM) Jump to Title Set(vts): 1, Title (ttn): 1 Root Menu

After that the TITLE button on your Remote always takes you to the Root menu - regardless of where you came from.
