    Now, let me tell you my intentions. I want to convert my Star Wars Trilogy Widescreen LD onto my computer in the best possible quality. And then put it on DVD. Now, I have the putting on DVD task pretty much covered. My question is this. I have a ATI TV Wonder VE Card that I planned on using and then recording the movies with the Digital VCR set to DVD Format for the best possible quality. Now, all the software I would be using is the updated Media Center by ATI. Does anyone know of any other software I can use which will give me better quality? Thanks.

    I capture from LD using the capture tool in the MainConcept software, using the HuffyUV codec, then encode using the LSX-MPEG encoder suite.
