1) I just did a clean install of win xp, and loaded tmp (ver.163) on my computer.
2) I capture directly to svcd with an ATI all in wonder 7500.
3) For some reason, when I'm using the mpeg tools to cut out the commercials (choosing MPEG2 vbr) the resulting file cannot be re-cut without de-multiplexing and multiplexing it again. I try to play it, and it shows no time code and it won't let me select a spot to re-cut (in case there's still a little piece of the commercial left).
I'm not sure I'm explaining this correctly, but I've tried. Maybe there's some weird setting somewhere I've forgotten? This is the first time this has happened.
