  1. I have seen many posts about sync problems but they deal with avi files.
Anyway, I capture as MPEG2 -- good quality. That file is in sync and plays fine in WinDVD. But after I encode it with TMPGEnc, the farther into the file, the more out of sync it gets. (some people mentioned theirs was out of sync the same for the whole video). The reason I tried TMPGEnc in the first place was because of the How-Tos. I thought TMPGenc sounded good. It was simple to use and recommended by many. I figured there would be others with this problem.
Anyone know what to do, I'd appreciate hearing it.
    Thanks,
    Paul

Re-encoding only results in lost quality and, in this case, bad sync. Why not just capture at your final resolution? That's the only suggestion I can think of.

  3. The capture software doesn't have VSCD as an option. I have WinFast PVR software. Is there some other software that 'does it all'?
