Please Help, gurus!
I have a good quality raw DV capture as an AVI file (Canopus made it and I tested many times)
Have Tmpgenc Plus (bought it). Encode a mpeg2 video - SVCD or DVD.
If output is more then 30 min in both cases I am getting a bad quality audio. Voice is chopped, sometimes then it may go OK again. I make 40-50 min SVCD destined mpeg2-s.
I know tmpgenc does badly on audio. some external engines (toolame and others) can be used as a plugin. Please help. I do not know how and what are settings with those.
I am extremely scared encoding video and audio separately, then multiplexing. I am afraid of sync and other problems there. But if you guys think I do not have a choice then please advice how. Personally I hope plugins can help.
Pc is quite decent, P4 2.4 GhZ 1 GIG DDR -400 memory, 80 GB HD.
Performance is not an issue it does job very fast.
Please help!!!
