Originally the video was from a professional dv cam . form dv tape it was transferred to mini dv.
I have captured the video using firewire (pinnacle dv500plus) and premiere 6.5. after finished editing I have exported the time line to pinnacle avi file, so far every thing is good, the avi file is perfect.
After this I used TMPGenc to convert the avi to vcd format now my video is jerky and more jerky wile cam panning.
I have used TMPGenc to convert the avi to dvd and svcd it comes out perfect.
I went around few forums and f.a.q. most of them are talking about field order. I have tried both filed order upper and lower and it has no effect on the vcd it still jerky.
I have re- exported the video form premiere to Microsoft dv avi format and with both field orders (one by one) but the vcd still jerky. ( as the filed order has no effect in vcd)
Then I exported the video to my S-VHS VCR then I recaptured the video and tried to encode vcd I am having the same problem.
I have tried few other encoding software all of them the same problem dvd and svcd is ok but vcd is jerky.
My pc is P4 3 ghz HT. 1 GB DDR, 200 GB hdd , intel chipset Asus M/B
Now I am left with no idea please help me (sorry for my english)
