    How do I reencode the audio mp2 to VCD format after I splited it from a mpeg file? I could not find a way using TMPG! Please help. Thanks.

    you can't re-encode it cos it's already encoded.

    If you want to add it to another mpg file then either multiplex it using the mpg tools in tmpg, or you'll have to convert the mp2 file back to a wav.

    You should be able to do this with mp3 authoring software.
