  1. HI,

I apologise if this has been asked before and if there is a faq on this then please just point me to it, but it is not really about converting PAL & NTSC.

I have a NTSC camcorder, bought in the USA as it was miles cheaper and fine for what I normally will do, which is underwater recording on US equipment and burning DVDs.

I also wish to be able to burn DVDs for friends with the Camcorders which would be PAL.

I know that I can only change from PAL/NTSC about 5 times. Is there anything that will allow me to set my Pioneer A05 DVD writer to be able to swap modes as and when I want?

    TIA

NTSC/PAL has NOTHING to do with the max 5 changes. The 5 changes are for dvd regions on commercial dvds. Homemade movies are usually region free so it should not be a problem.

But you can anyway make your dvd-rom region free:

  3. I only have region 1 DVDs and yet when testing my burns in my DVD reader it has gone on to region 2(I thought because I had burned as NTSC for my US friends)

I will check out the tools.

    Thank you.
