I have been creating some music, which I have created into 6 WAV files (C, FL, FR, SL, SR, SW), and now I want to convert it into a AC3 file for playing on my dvd player.

All i need to know is how I convert the 6 WAV files into an AC3 file

    Thankx

  2. I think BeSweet can handle this operation... (not 100% shure)

you could also take a look here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools#AudioEncoders

  3. I do not believe Besweet will handle multiple mono or stereo
tracks in WAV format conversions to 5.1 AC3 unless they are
multiplexed beforehand into a single WAV.

You will need Sonic Foundry Soft encode-Dolby Digital 5.1
to convert 6 WAV to 5.1 AC3, which does not come cheap. There are
also some AC3 plugins available for video suite software packages
(such as ulead) which may provide for a cheaper alternative all up.

Besweet ( http://dspguru.notrace.dk/index.html ) for sure is able to do this! On this website look for the FAQ-page and search for mux . There is a description how to mux six mono wav files (32000 - 48000 Hz) to a 5.1 wav or ac3-file. Besweet even has dts-support.
