I have 650 mg of continuous(mixed) sound (.wav) and about 2.300 photos (.jpg). I would like to make a ONLY ONE file (.mpg) to play my photo album.
IMPORTANT: I need a 5 seconds delay for play each photo with continuous sound.
Is it posible with Nero and TMPGenc?
    Tks for any help.

  3. I'm not sure how to do this with TMPGEnc, but I know w/ premier (you can download a demo from adobe's website, check out the tools section of this site) you can create one large file by importing the audio, then the pictures, and setting the duration for each picture on the time line to 5 sec, and putting them one after the other, will create one large movie file like you want. then you can export it as an mpg.

    hope that helps.

  4. You need another piece of software.

I use StudioDV (a video editor software).
    1) import all the JPG as video clips (each has a default of 4 second long for Studio DV)
    2) add audio (.wav) to the sound track
    3) output the video to an AVI file
    4) use TMPGEnc to encode the AVI file to an VCD or SVCD MPEG file. I recommend SVCD for better picture quality
    5) burn the MPEG file as S/VCD

    a few gotchas:
1)the number of photos really depends on the bitrate you use to encode to MPEG-2. With 2300 photos at 4 second each, this is about 2.55 hours of video !!!
    2) who really want to watch 2.5 hours of slide shows !!!
To go around the issue #2, I always split into mutiple albums, each is an AVI file (and therefore an MPEG-2 file). This way, I can index into the album I want to watch.
