RecordNow MAX doesn't recognize my LG GSA-4040B drive??

I used to have the NEC 1300-a but it was a piece of crap that didn't like the media that I bought. I returned it and got the LG GSA-4040B and it burned my crappy -R media perfectly w/ Nero!

RecordNow MAX recognized the nec drive fine but when I installed the LG drive, it doesn't appear in the drives list. I'm using version 4.5. Can someone tell me what's wrong or anyway to make it recognize my drive?

Version 4.5 is the latest version out for RecordNow MAX. I don't think there's any updates for it

while we've on the subject, what's the difference between these? I thought I saw software from another company also called RecordNow Max, making it at least 2 with that title, possibly 3.

Recordnow DX 4.61 supports LG GSA-4040B, at least it works here... Haven't tried burning yet, but the drive is there (not as "LG" though)

Ya I am using the stomp inc version. So that link MOVIEGEEK's provided won't have any updates for mine unfortunately

As far as I know you wan't get LG GSA-4040B to work with Recordnow Max 4.5.

I don't think so. I downloaded the patch, it didn't work
