How can you capture sound from a Pinnacle DC-10 capture card, I understand you have to have a sound card which all computer does, my had one on board, my old Canon 8mm analog camcorder has an RED and WHITE RCA plugs for audio and my sound card line in had a different kind of mating hole(s) Is that mean I have to go Radio Shack to get an adapter for that? THANKS.

Most sound cards use a 1/8" mini connection. You can get a Y-adapter, which is available at most electronics stores. The Y-adapter would have a 1/8" mini male connection on one end and 2 RCA male connections on the other.
I think there are also Y-adapters with female RCA conenctions available. Of course, if you get the one with the male ends and you want to connect an RCA cable to it, you can get a pair of couplers which will allow you to connect the 2 male ends together.
