dvd shrink 3 question

i recently downloaded dvdshrink v3.0 beta 5 . what does analysis do. its an option on the top of the screen? ive tried looking at guides but it dont go into detail about that

Deep analysis can be used if you are going to compress the movie. In order to get the best possible output, I use it anytime I compress. Compression down to 50% looks as good as uncompressed on my 27" tv.

do i use analysis first then backup or just analysis?

click backup, and then there will be a deep analysis check box. it will then analyze and backup.

Hi all.

towncarblue, unless you keep all the compression settings on "Automatic", I'd suggest you use Deep Analysis before clicking "Backup!".
That way you'll have much less chance of an over/undersized backup.
