Is there any way I can convert a Macromedia presentation to a video format? Example: http://www.happytreefriends.com
Can I convert those? Any help would be appreciated.

Buy the DVDs. Converting the flash movies is tedious and very time consuming, the quality sucks, and you get some pretty cool extras on the DVDs. Well worth it.

  5. Well... actually a few months ago I went through the VERY tedious process of screencapturing all 30 Happy Tree Friends episodes using Camtasia Studio Recorder. I captured as a 640X480 avi video and a stereo mix record from my sound card. I then went through the super tedious process of cropping, clipping and encoding the video to VCD and CVD using TMPGenc (VDUb was a pain in the ass with keyframing and would not let me splice out single frames when doing direct stream copy). The results were AWESOME. Since flash uses vector graphics, resizing it for the capture causes no qulaity loss causing the source hence to be hi quality. That way when encoded I got noise free smooth vibrant animations. I still have to compile intros for all the episodes but when I'm done I'l post the episodes somewhere if you want to have a look! It was cool... but it took way too much time. You're probably better off buying the DVD... but yes... Camtasia Studio recorder for flash. And they have a 30 day trial with all options.... ample time to capture a whole lot of animations.

I tried Camtasia on Launch.com and the quality wasn't that great. But the video clips on http://www.happytreefriends.com have great quality. Maybe I will try that, I didn't really think of that. What kind of extra's do they have on there, because I saw the smoochies on the internet already. Plus, I don't want to spend money on episodes I've seen already for free, You know what I mean??? Thanks for your help!!
