  1. Can anyone tell me if and what i use to make mpeg1 files into a dvd? if so what programs are the best for doing so.? ...SasArchiver

  2. The short answer is, demux the MPEG1 file to seperate m1v (video) and mp2 (audio) files. REencode the mp2 file from 44.1khz to 48khz. Author the file to DVD format (look at the guides to the left under author) then burn it to a DVD+R disc (burning guides also under author).

    This assumes that the m1v file is at a supported DVD resolution (Scottland is PAL so that's 720x576, 704x576, 352x576, 352x288 look to the left under 'what is DVDR').

    If the MPEG file is not at a supported DVD resolution you'll have to re-encode it to one. Many programs can do this, TMPGenc, CCE and Mainconcept are among the most popular.

  3. you seem to know what ur talking about, so i'll ask you another question can u do AVI(divx) to dvd also?? im reading up on svcvcdtodvd now...
