  1. I have a panasonic RV-32 DVD player which I bought in Canada and I bought a DVD in europe with the designations "PAL" and "ALL" on the back. When I try play the DVD I get a message that that DVD format is not supported. I scanned the DVD on my computer with Easy VCD and there are a couple of NTSC formats on the DVD. Since there are NTSC formats on the DVD, why can't I play them on my DVD player. Is there some setting I need to change? or are all north american DVD players blocked out to play DVDs bought in other parts of the world.

  2. my best guess would be that its a PAL only DVD player that supports discs of all regions. meaning no support for NTSC discs.

hehe, this got out the wrong way didn't it?

Your player is a NTSC only player, and the disc you bought is a PAL disc that is region free...

Sexybeast (nice nick btw ), you could try reading this: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=Panasonic+RV32 , but I don't think it is at any help if it is a NTSC only player... worth a try thought...
