  1. Hi
    trying to backup godfather trilogy. Parts 1 and 3 are fine, it is 2 that is causing me grief.

    Basically movie is on to discs. The second disc I can copy without compressing using dvd shrink, no problems. However the first disc (first half of movie), I can not copy on to one disc unless compress by 40% (to much). Only option if I don't want to compress is to use DVD FAB and put on 2 discs.

    Therefore movie will be on 3 discs! This is stupid, how can I back it up on two discs?

    Please help?

    Sadly you know the answer but just cannot face the stark truth.

    LOWER THE BITRATE

    There is no magic - a DVD is a specific size (4.38Gb)
    You know your run time (movie length)

    Size - (Audio x Length )) / Length = Video bitrate

    You not what I mean, rip it to hard drive with dvd shrink and burn with nero (did not been with dvd shrink)!
