So I hear a Rumor that OSX 10.3 is freaking awsome. It has all sorts of neat features and even makes say a iMac G3 500 with 192ram run better. I can't wait. 8)

Wonder if that means the have fully implemented the X-window system. From what I have read, removing aqua and replacing with X-window make a big difference. Then Apple fully supported the alternative use of X-window, and now maybe they redid the GUI alltogether?
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

I think the coolest feature is that xpose jazz. My worker downloaded some stolen code and installed it on his mac. Those little mini windows are just so cool.

Yes I Hear xpose is really neat. I also hear that the way they rearranged some things in systems preferences makes the support job a little easier. For some reason consumers have issues following instuctions there.

I've also Heard that mounting disc images is not handled by disc copy any longer, its done by the finder itself and that burning disc image (.dmg files and such) is not down inside the disc utility which has been redesigned quite a bit and includes the ability to restore a partition to match a .dmg file.

I've also Heard that you can encrypt your home directory.

I need to get rich and buy a mac, already. I've been wanting to get one for a while, but I can only cut off so many fingers, before I become unprofitable to my company.

My cousing just bought a G5, but he's had it in the box for a week. He said he's waiting to install some software. I honestly don't know how the hell he's resisiting the temptation of a new toy, just begging to be opened and played with.
