help backing up movies with menus

Hi there, for the past 2 months I've been backing up dvd's using smartripper or dvdDecryptor to rip, then dvd20ne to process then nero to burn. This works fine, however, there are no menus. I read the faq on burning with menus on this site that has several time consuming steps involving using ifoedit etc. However the DVD I made was unsuccessful. I was wondering if there is a faster or better program recently released that could help me with this. Please do not waste yours and my time by posting with "search the forums" etc. because obviously I have done this.

Which burner do you have and what types of discs are you using? Have you tried DVD Shrink yet?

I highly recommend it, as do many others on this forum. Great program and free! Check it out!

i've tried ripping every file from the disk, then using full disk mode, but nero gives me an error when i try to burn. should i try recordnow max or what do you suggest? i was under the impression it was not possible.

Get ImgTool Classic
This program (and there are at least two different version so be sure to get the classic version) can create what is called an IMAGE file from your VIDEO_TS folder (the folder that your DVD2ONE processed files go into).

So use ImgTool Classic to create the IMAGE file then you can BURN it with DVD DECRYPTER in ISO WRITE MODE.

Both ImgTool Classic and DVD Decrypter are FREEWARE.
