    There might be something obvious that I'm missing here...

    I have a DVD5 that will not work on my standalone because it's region protected, so I decrypted it onto my HD using DVD decrypter and re-burnt it onto a DVDRW however the region protection is still there and it's an exact copy of it was before. How do I re-burn the DVD onto a DVDRW, removing the protection so that it will work on my standalone?

    Use DVD Decrypter (MOde -> File F and select all files and decrypt it)... it will remove all region protections
