I captured all 3 hours and 45 minutes of Gods and Generals from my TIVO using huffy. I then spent 2.5 freakin' days converting it to one, giant 8.2 gb file with the hopes that I could split it in two and burn it to two separate DVDs so as not to sacrifice lots of quality. Am I off here? I can't seem to find anything telling me how to split the file and what software to use. Thanks for the help....

  3. Why not author one big DVD complete with Menus and chapters etc and create a titleset on your HD. Then split this with DvdFab.

How did you convert your file to mpeg? If you used TMPGEnc then you can use the source range function to select which part of the file to encode and batch encoding to create two seperate files.

Or just use tmpgenc dvd author and add the mpg and cut it and author at the same time.
