  1. i used to have some plans on how to make a tv projector, but i lost them.

    I've searched for ages but have come up empty, if anyone has any info/plans, plz post cause my dvd player comes in next week, and would be great if i could watch them BIG screen

    I think you're wasting your time trying to build a projector. What I remember from several years ago was a giant plastic lens you could put over a TV set, then you had to invert the TV picture to make it come out right. Unfortunately, most video projectors are expensive (Around $1000US)and I don't know anyway around that except finding a used projector.

    ussually some on ebay .. you can get some pretty cheap .. though if not working (CRT type) -- it can cost you a LOT of money to get it fixed ..

    some lcd projectors are ebay because they could not get bulbs for them anymore... which makes them worth zero -- but I see them being sold ..

    Do you have the one where you have to cut out a lens or something and add it to a TV?? If so, let me know...one of my friends tried it and failed and I can ask him for his CD. I'll pm you the instructions.

    Yeah basicly m8, it involved cutting of a box, with some lens, bulbs, then putting on ya tv, I lost me plans though, so if u have some, that would be great if u post them/pm them

    Um...I borrowed his cd but there are (I think) 4 different plans. Three concern cardboad boxes and one is wood, which one do you need?

    Um..whats irc and ddc? It's prettly long and it has pictures of the designs and stuff...so I dont know how that would work if I pm you.
