I am not sure about Nero 6 but with Nero 5 you have to buy an MPEG2/DVD plug-in in order to burn DVDs.

Check out Nero's website at www.nero.com to be sure.

It's been a while but I think I had to pay $29.00 for my DVD plug-in.

Doesn't recognize the IFO file? I use nothing nut DVD Shrink and Nero 6. Works every time. What are you doing wrong?

  4. There is a freeware tool to convert the IFO files to ISO format (dont remember which one), then you can burn with DVD Decrypter.

  5. I think what he is trying to do is burn from image (trying to select the IFO file).

  6. Imgtool can create the ISO or interface to Nero to Burn the DVD transparently.
I recomment this since you are not clear on how to make Nero work correctly.

I like burnatonce.com also if you do not have Nero.

If you created the files with DVD Shrink, open up Nero 6 using Nero Express. Make sure your DVD writer is displayed in the top right. Click on DVD-Video Files. Then double click the "Red" VIDEO_TS Folder. Then browse to the folder where your movie is. Hightlight the folder and click add. Do not double click the folder, cause then you have to add the files seperately. Then click next and burn. It isn't any simplier than that.

  11. AutoShrinkISO is 100% freeware solution and you can use it at work too legally. Just need DVDShrink and DVDDecrypter.
