You can use dvd shrink 3.

A guide how to join several dvds
    http://www.dvdshrink.info/re-author-v3beta5-advanced.php

And instead of copying the entire movie you can use the Start/End and select exactly what you want.

  4. Hi you two.

ALAIN VO, you would either have to:

    - Rip four of the five DVDs first (three only if you have two drives), so they can be used with DVD Shrink "Open files"; the other(s) being read directly from the drive(s) with "Open Disc".

or, to use less space on your hard-drive,

    - Use DVD Shrink "Start/End" in "Open Disc" mode, rip only the parts you want to include in your compilation, and then use "Re-author" to compile them.

    Hi
I try too many time to do as per your instruction... without success....
If i have 5 disks to rip, the moment I removed the 2nd drive the open file was lost...so basicly I can only do 2 DVD video clip to 1 DVD

I try to rip each videoclip with DVDdecrypter and put each videoclip in each separate folder, DVDShrink give me an error message...can't continue.
    Pls help.

  7. Hi Alain.

    Disc 1 / Clip1:
    1) Disc 1 in DVD drive.
    2) DVD Shrink "Open Disk" (window A).
    3) "Re-author" (window B).
    4) Drag the title containing the first clip in window A to the "New DVD" in window B.
    5) Use "Start/End" to select the clip.
    6) Backup! (name the folder "CLIP1" for example).
    7) When done, remove disc 1 from the drive and close window B.

    Disc 2 /Clip2:
    1) Disc 2 in DVD drive.
    2) DVD Shrink "Open Disk" (window A).
    3) "Re-author" (new window B).
    4) Drag the title containing the second clip in window A to the "New DVD" in window B.
    5) Use "Start/End" to select the clip.
    6) Backup! (name the folder "CLIP2" for example).
    7) When done, remove disc 2 from the drive and close window B.

    Disc 3 /Clip3:
    1) Disc 3 in DVD drive.
    2) DVD Shrink "Open Disk" (window A).
    3) "Re-author" (new window B).
    4) Drag the title containing the third clip in window A to the "New DVD" in window B.
    5) Use "Start/End" to select the clip.
    6) Backup! (name the folder "CLIP3" for example).
    7) When done, remove disc 3 from the drive and close window B.

    etc etc...

When you have all the clips in their respective folders, go back to window A.
    1) "Open Files" >> "CLIP1" >> "VIDEO_TS.IFO".
    2) "Re-author" (new window B).
    3) Drag the clip1 title from window A to the "New DVD" pane in window B.
    4) Go back to window A.
    5) "Open Files" >> "CLIP2" >> "VIDEO_TS.IFO".
    6) Drag the clip2 title under the clip1 one in window B.
    7) Go back to window A.
    8 ) "Open Files" >> "CLIP3" >> "VIDEO_TS.IFO".
    9) Drag the clip3 title under the clip2 one in window B.
    etc etc.
When you have all your clips in the "New DVD" pane, change the compression as you see fit (if necessary), and "Backup!".

P.S: the error you got with DVD Decrypter rips is probably because you did not rip all the files as shown here:
