have been using datawrite x4(red) to make copies using dvd shrink & copytodvd. This resulted in film endings being cut off. So, started shrinking down to 4.2 gb and burned with no problem. Didn't have this problem while using decryptor(could burn 4.6gb no problem).
Now, if I start using ritek, will is stop geting the missing endings while using shrink & coptodvd. Has anyone else had this problem. Pls help. Thanks.

I use DVD Shrink to rip and CloneDVD to burn. I also use the awesome Ritek G04's for my DVD-R's. I've never had a missing ending using these programs along with Ritek's, also I've never missed an ending using Verbatim Datalife's either. HOWEVER, I never rip anything more then 4.3GB, because CloneDVD will not burn a movie at anything higher then that. I'm not sure why, but anyways. You could try using Ritek's with those programs, I haven't used CopytoDVD, so I don't know. I would just using the 4.3GB rule, and see if the endings get cut first, then you'll know if it's the media or not.

aleem, using Ryteks should minimize the chances of you having this problem again.
However, keep in mind that media dye is only one variable in a successful burn.
