Now that I got that out of my system,
Try setting all of the environmental priorities back to default (right click, default). Next demux the audio from the video using VirtualDub. Now tackle both files independently. Want to know how? Try the Guides section. -
i cant... u see, d files tt i cannot encode are asf and wmv files. d avi files are alright.tt's y im trying to convert d files to avi. but after conversion, a files become really large. tt's y i need to compress them. but i need a program to do it(other than virtualdub). is there any other program tt allows me to compress files? n btw, u know tt asf n wmv files cant be opened in virtualdub. so i cant do wat ur trying to tell me to do.

Modzon - I think people might be a little more willing to help if you took their advice/request seriously and stopped typing like you are texting on a cell/mobile phone.
A few people have asked, but you continue. It frustrates and aggravates people.
If they're willing to try and help you, you should try bending that little bit. :c)
It might be acceptable for texting - it isn't liked or appreciated here. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
